Paris Hilton is a DJ Now Apparently (VIDEO)
Paris Hilton is back, and this time, she’s playing the role of a bad DJ (previous roles include ‘bad TV star’, ‘bad singer’, and more).
The socialite made her DJ debut to over 30,000 concertgoers at the Pop Music Festival in São Paulo, Brazil. During the event, she spent a lot of time professing of her ‘love’ for the crowd, but was met with boos from many of the attendees.
Paris played a one-hour set, spending most of it dancing around, wearing diamond-encrusted headphones, and not actually DJing. In fact, at one point, a guy appeared next to her to quickly tweak some knobs and attempt to make the set sound slightly less awful.
Paris was apparently playing the show to promote her new song, Last Night. Unfortunately, she played it at the same time as Rihanna’s We Found Love, resulting in a very mixed-up mashup which she then attempted to warble over top of.
“I could not have been happier with the crowd’s reaction to my set. It felt so good to be in control of the party and see everyone dancing!,” Paris told E! News. So, at least she enjoyed it?
Don’t quit your day job, Paris! Oh, wait.
