Jennifer Aniston Sparks Engagement Rumors with Diamond Ring
Jennifer Aniston came back from her romantic vacation in Paris with a shiny diamond ring, prompting the internet to freak the F out and assume that she and her beau-Theroux must be getting hitched.
Not so fast: HuffPo reports that the ring, which Jen was also seen wearing at the 40th AFI Life Achievement Awards Honoring Shirley MacLaine in L.A. earlier this month, is on her RIGHT HAND.
Also, Jen once wore a ring on her left ring finger – but apparently that’s just because she and Justin sometimes like to wear “Justin and Jennifer” rings that have nothing to do with being engaged. I bet they just do that to lead the papz astray! Still, the couple was rumored to be scouting wedding locations while visiting Paris.
Which brings me to the real point here: who cares if Jen and Justin get married? They already live together and are clearly happy. Jen already got married once and it didn’t work out, so maybe she’s trying to avoid that same path. In March, GQ asked Jen if it bothered her that the tabloids are always trying to impose marriage and kids on her. “Part of the picture-perfect life? I think that’s sort of cliché, isn’t it?” she said. “Like, if you want to be happy, you should have the house, the husband, the kids… Kids are messy!”
