Lindsay Lohan Settles Civil Suit Over 2007 DUI
As you may remember, way back in 2007, Lindsay Lohan was arrested for driving under the influence after allegedly hijacking a car and abducting the three men who were in it, and taking them on a high-speed car ride through Santa Monica. Cocaine was found in the vehicle, and Lindsay pled guilty to driving under the influence of cocaine. She spent one day in jail.
Anyway, great news for Linds, because the lawsuit brought against her by the three men she allegedly abducted has been settled! Lindsay’s attorneys confirmed that the case was settled before going to trial.
The three men involved in the incident sued the actress in 2008 for false imprisonment, negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and assault and battery.
No word on what the settlement was, but Randall Billington, the lawyer representing the plaintiffs, told E! News that, “My clients thought it was fair. They are happy to have this all resolved.”
At least with this out of the way, Lindsay will hopefully be able to focus on her career, and posing in a Terry Richardson shoot with a gun in her mouth, and whatever else she’s up to these days.
