Charlize Theron Steps Out With Shaved Head
We’ve seen Charlize Theron out in public with a bowler hat and no hair – but E! News reports that on Sunday, the Snow White And the Huntsman actress showed off her completely shaved heat, no hat! Who needs hair? Charlize was all smiles as she carried adorable baby Jackson on her hip.
The 36 year-old actress shaved her head for her role of Furiosa in the upcoming film Mad Max: Fury Road, which is a remake of the 1979 action film. And as you might imagine, it’s impossible for Charlize to look bad, even without hair.
According to MTV News, Charlize spoke about her drastic hairstyle in a SWATH roundtable interview: “It’s been three years: It’s time to skin this cat already!” she said. “I’m very excited about it.” In terms of the “three years,” I think she’s referring to the process of getting the film into production, and not a previous bald ‘do. According to US Weekly, the film was originally slated to begin in 2009.
Other actresses who have shaved their heads for roles include Demi Moore, Anne Hathaway and Natalie Portman.
