Snoop Dogg Detained in Norway Airport for Weed Possession
In today’s most unsurprising news, Snoop Dogg was caught with about 8 grams of weed by customs officials.
He was detained at the Kjevic Airport in Kristiansand and had to shell out 12,000 Norwegian Krone, which is roughly equivalent to about $1,980. Probably pocket change for the Dogg!
Snoop is definitely on his way to achieving the world record for having some sort of legal issue at every airport in the world. Is it just me or does something of this nature happen every month or so?
Let’s take a brief look back at his other airport incidents:
In 2006, Snoop and his entourage caused a ruckus at the British Airways area duty free shop by throwing bottles of brand-new whiskey, because part of his crew were denied entry into the first class lounge. They were sent to jail.
Later that year, officials discovered a collapsible baton in Snoop’s bag at the John Wayne Airport located in Orange County. He wasn’t sent to jail but they took his baton away.
Then just a month later, he was caught with weed and firearms at the Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California. He was sent to jail.
It wouldn’t be a far cry to assume that the only time Snoop hasn’t had issues at an airport was during the filming of Soul Plane. Anyway, I don’t care how often he gets arrested — you gotta love Snoop!
