Action-Packed ‘Dora the Explorer’ Movie Needs to be Real (VIDEO)
What if Dora the Explorer grew up and became a feisty, badass, crime-solving agent? This was the question asked by the writers at College Humor, and the answer was this amazing video:
The viral video stars Modern Family’s Ariel Winter as a grown-up Dora, tasked with finding an ‘Infinity Orb’ that has been swiped by the evil Swiper. The video features explosions, Tomb Raider-style action sequences, and educational fun.
Armed with her trusty backpack, Dora shakes down bad guys, blows things up with Diego, and breaks the fourth wall by asking the viewer, “Do you see Swiper?”
This video got me thinking about children’s programming that I’d like to see remade for an older crowd. Perhaps ‘Hey Arnold’ remade as a dark love story between Arnold and Helga?
