Gummy Bear Dress Looks Delicious, Sticky (PHOTOS)

Katy Perry, we have your next costume! After all, for a woman who has dressed up in candy and other sweet treats on numerous occasions, would it really be such a stretch to hit up her next concert while rocking a dress made of 50,000 gummy bears?

Yep, you read that right. Fifty thousand rainbow gummy bears arranged in a vaguely chevron-like pattern were used in the creation of this impractically fashionable piece of clothing.

The gown was designed by Hissa Igarashi and Sayuri Marakumi, and was inspired by this Alexander McQueen dress:

The Alexander McQueen dress that served as inspiration.

The dress was put together over the course of a few weeks by painstakingly gluing each gummy to a sheet of vinyl, which was laid over a wire cage in the shape of the dress. The final product weighed 220 pounds and required three people to move. The photoshoot for TWELV magazine took five hours because of the difficulties of moving the cumbersome gelatin dress.

No word on whether anyone ate the creation when the shoot was over.
