Katie Holmes Eats Ice Cream With Suri, Looks Absolutely Delighted
Despite her six-plus-month-long escape plan from her Scientologist hubbie Tom Cruise, who just turned 50 years old by the way, Katie Holmes seems to be doing just fine. In fact, she seems to be much more than fine.
Yesterday night, she took her six-year-old daughter Suri and four bodyguards to Sundaes and Cones in East Village NYC to indulge in a nighttime snack and chill down during the hot, humid east coast heat. The mother daughter pair looked extremely happy, as if they were celebrating a huge milestone…
The following day, they were seen picking up ID4 BBQ supplies at Whole Foods.
Despite the beginning of a long, drawn-out custody battle she will surely face in months if not years to come, perhaps Holmes is just relieved that she finally drew up the divorce papers, making her separation official, and moved out to a new three-bedroom apartment with her daughter.
According to the NY Daily News, Holmes simply stated, “I’m alright. Thank you.”
At this point, I can help but wonder if Suri has any idea what’s going on.
