Bachlorette: Jef Questions Emily About Her Singledom, Turns Down Her Offer to Spend the Night
Jef gets the second Curacao date. He’s looking forward to it but still has a few questions he wants to as Emily.
The date begins on a sailboat. Jef tells her that his siblings really like Emily and even the mysteriously missing parents love her.
Jef asks Emily why she thinks he’d be a good dad. She says that he’s fun and was great with the kids in the park many, many episodes ago. Jef wants to meet Ricki to see if they mesh well.
On a side note, Jef seems especially calm this week. Or are his verbalizations extra robotic?
The two go to dinner. Jef wants to know exactly what it’ll be like to spend time with Ricki.
First question: If you see us together, “where would you want to live?” Emily says she wants to start from scratch with her daughter and husband, whether it’s in Charlotte or Salt Lake City.
Second question: “You attract amazing guys. Why do you think it hasn’t worked out with you?” Emily says she’s been on many dates with great guys that were perfect on paper but she never felt that extra intangible “right feeling” with anybody.
Third question: “Do you think I’m a good fit for [Ricki] as far as being a dad?” Emily says she can picture Jef present while she’s making lunch for Ricki.
Those seems to be all the questions.
Emily asks Jef to the Fantasy Suite and Jef tactfully declines by saying that he respects Emily’s motherhood and both their families.
