Scarlett Johansson Parties in Bikini, Offered $20 Million for Avengers 2 (PHOTOS)
She’s set to become the highest paid actress in Hollywood.
According to The New York Post, Scarlett Johansson has been offered 20 million dollars to return to her post as Black Widow in The Avengers 2. If she accepts, she’ll oust Kristen Stewart as highest paid actress in Hollywood (Stewart makes about $12.5 million per film) and Angelina Jolie as the highest paid actress of all time (Angie made $19 million for The Tourist).
After the first installment of The Avengers brought in more than $1.355 billion worldwide (and became the third-highest grossing film ever), it’s no surprise that producers are looking to bring back the original cast for a sequel. Apparently Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, and Robert Downey Jr. will also be receiving 50% pay raises to return to the franchise.
Scarlett hasn’t accepted the offer yet, but her return seems likely. The second installment will begin filming in 2013.
Today, Johansson was spotted sunning herself alongside some friends and a mystery man on a yacht in Italy. Clearly, she’s taking a much-needed break after such a busy few months of filming and promoting!
