Brad Pitt’s Mom’s Anti-Gay Letter Leads to Death Threats

Brad Pitt’s mom, Jane Pitt, has found herself in hot water after penning an anti-gay, anti-Obama letter to her local newspaper.

Last week, Mrs. Pitt wrote to the Springfield News-Leader about her feelings regarding the upcoming election. Her letter stated,

“Any Christian who does not vote or writes in a name is casting a vote for [Mitt] Romney’s opponent, Barack Hussein Obama — a man who sat in Jeremiah Wright’s church for years, did not hold a public ceremony to mark the National Day of Prayer, and is a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage.”

Unfortunately, some people don’t see the irony in threatening the life of a woman for her views in the name of tolerance and freedom, as they have taken to Twitter to air their violent opinions about Mrs. Pitt.

User ‘Sandy Kownacka’ tweeted, “Brad Pitt’s mom, die.”

“BRAD PITT’S MOM WROTE AN ANTI-GAY PRO-ROMNEY EDITORIAL. KILL THE B**CH,” wrote ‘I Bleed Gaga’.

These are only two of a number of tweets on the subject. Many of the tweets were profane and extremely violent.

…Really?

Yes, her letter is inflammatory and hateful. But death threats?

Come on. Let’s practice what we preach here, guys.
