Kate Middleton Made to Look Ugly on the Cover of ‘New Republic’
Kate Middleton is renowned for her beauty and elegance, but she isn’t looking like herself on this month’s cover of New Republic magazine.
The American based magazine features the Duchess, but with something obviously altered. Kate is portrayed with yellowing, rotten teeth with the headline “Something’s Rotten: The Last Days of Britain.”
Many people have expressed outrage over the photo. “No fan of the royals or Kate either, but its a shameful abuse of Photoshop taking very cheap and nasty shot at the royals, Kate and Brits in general,” said a reader of the Daily Mail.
The magazine pokes fun at the declining state of England with emphasis on the upcoming summer Olympics. One of the articles critiques British soccer.
A reader of the Mirror wrote the following: “Now how would Americans like it if our political magazines featured obese burger-munching Americans on its front cover? They’d be the first to complain.”
