Taylor Swift & Justin Bieber Top Forbes List of ‘Highest Paid Stars Under 30′
Sitting atop the list of Forbes ‘Highest Paid Stars Under 30′ is 22-year-old country crooner Taylor Swift.
It’s estimated that Swift pulled in $57 million between May 2011 and May 2012. Each of her three albums sold at least $4 million copies, which is quite a feat in an industry dominated by singles. Not to mention her sold-out concerts which rake in a hefty $1 million per night. You’ve also seen her adorable face as CoverGirl’s spokeswomen.
In second place, is 18-year-old Justin Bieber–the only male to make the top five slots. The Biebs made $55 million dollars after taking in $12 million in album sales. Not only is the young star banking from his album sales, concerts, and Proactiv endorsements, he’s also invested in some tech start-ups like Spotify, Enflick, Tinychat, and Stamped.
Following close behind is 24-year-old Rihanna in third place with $53 million dollars from her tour and Talk That Talk album. Lady Gaga, 26, is sitting pretty at number four with $52 million in sales. And rounding off the top five is 27-year-old pop sensation Katy Perry who banked $45 million.
The remaining top ten are as follows: Adele ($35 million), Kristen Stewart ($34.5 million), Lil Wayne ($27 million), Taylor Lautner ($26.5 million) and Robert Pattinson ($26.5 million).
