Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise in Car Accident (VIDEO)
Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise had a close call last night when the black Mercedes that they were passengers in was sideswiped by a dump truck in New York City. The accident occurred around 9:30 PM last night, when the pair was being driven home by Holmes’ chauffeur from Suri’s gymnastics class at the Chelsea Piers rec center.
Luckily, no one was hurt (although Suri was a little shaken up from the event) and damage to both vehicles was minimal and superficial. The only other person in the car at the time of the collision was Katie’s chauffeur.
“It was nothing major other than the fact that it was Katie Holmes,” said a police source.
It sure has been an eventful few weeks for the pair. Since Katie filed for divorce from Suri’s dad, Tom Cruise, the two have been spotted out and about in their new home of New York. They’ve definitely been keeping busy, going shopping, to parks and events, and more.
Presumably Holmes’ is trying to keep Suri’s mind off of her parents’ divorce. But if she really wants to do that, all she’s got to do is buy her that puppy she so desperately wanted!
