Tom Cruise and Suri Together Again Since Divorce Proceedings

The 50-year-old actor visited Suri on Tuesday for the first time since the divorce proceedings between himself and ex-wife, Katie Holmes.
“Tom looked really happy,” says an observer. Cruise flew into New York City and was spotted carrying Suri into a hotel on Tuesday. He finally completed shooting Oblivion on Sunday and hightailed it the Big Apple to be with his daughter.
“He’s been dying to see her,” reveals a source. Cruise and Suri have reportedly not seen each other in person since mid-June since he began filming in California and Iceland.
The divorce settlement, which was reached on July 7, states that Suri will live with Katie, but Tom will have “generous visitation rights.”
Tom and Katie released this statement shortly after their speedy divorce settlement: “We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other’s commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other’s roles as parents.”
It seems like they’re sticking to their word, and trying to keep things as normal as possible for Suri, who has been in the spotlight from birth.
