Halle Berry Rushed to Hospital!
Halle Berry was rushed to Los Angeles Cedars Sinai Medical Centre on Tuesday after sustaining minor head injuries.
The 45-year-old actress was filming a scene from her newest flick The Hive, which also stars Abigail Breslin and Jennifer Hudson’s fiancé, wrestler David Otunga.
“Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, The Hive,” said her rep. “She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She’ll continue production as planned.”
Some reports say that the injury was sustained after a fall, while others say that it was caused by a falling object.
This isn’t the first injury for Berry who broke her foot in September 2011 on the set of Cloud Atlas. She was also hospitalized in 2004 after getting hit in the head with a lightning fixture on the set of Catwoman. In addition, Berry broke her arm on the set of Gothika in 2003, and suffered an eye injury in 2002 while filming Die Another Day. The perils of being a kickass actress.
The Hive is due out next year. Berry plays a 911 operator who’s trying to save the life of a young girl played by Abigail Breslin.
