According to Justin Bieber in the latest issue of Rolling Stone, the pop star is a man now.
“I feel like I carry myself in a more manly way,” explains the 18-year-old. “I don’t carry myself as a boy.”
So, how does the Biebs know that he’s a for reals grownup now? He pays attention to his girlfriend, 19-year-old Selena Gomez.
“I make sure to do the little things. Like noticing when they get their hair done, or when they change their nail color. Also saying things all the time – like, ‘You’re very pretty,’ ‘You’re gorgeous,’ things like that.”
Justin has been making a real effort to remind us all that he is no longer the shaggy-haired teen he was at the beginning of his career. In a recent interview with GQ, Justin declared that he is “18 years old and a swaggy adult!”
‘Swaggy adult’? What does that even mean? Do those two words not contradict one another?
In the same interview, he drops gems like, “F**k Platinum. Platinum can suck a d*ck, man. West Coast all day,” and, “I’ve never made a bad song.”
One thing about being an adult is that you don’t feel the need to constantly remind everyone that you’re an adult. You’ve still got some growing up to do, Justin.
