Bachelorette Finale: Emily Surprises Jef With Meeting With Ricki!!!
Emily goes on her final date with Jef. She tells him she’s stressed out.
Jef is extremely Zen. He reminds Emily that he still hasn’t met Ricki. Emily, in her words, “dances around the topic.”
Emily tells him that she still feels bad for introducing Ricki to Brad Womack, who ended up leaving.
Jef says, “Think about you being in my position. You’re sure of it, you found this person who gets you, who matches you so perfect. And you haven’t met that person’s daughter. What would you think?”
Emily responds: “I would think it was weird – not weird, but I’d be disappointed.”
She continues, “I wasn’t planning on introducing her to anybody… but since we have such little time left, we should just do it today!”
Jef, in his usual calm and monotone voice, exclaims how excited he is that he finally gets to meet the daughter who has been the center of everything Bachelorette.
They walk toward their house. They first peek inside and spy on Ricki, who’s frolicking about in the pool.
Jef greets Ricki with a high five. He tells her to put her goggles on. She then shows her water flipping tricks. Jef asks what her favorite trick is and she giggles nervously. Ricki asks Jef to jump inside the pool. Ricki pushes him off a bridge.
They all have a chat afterward. The conversation is a bit awkward and I think Ricki is weirded out. But overall, Emily and Jef both seem very happy.
