Bachelorette Finale: Emily’s Father Approves Jef as Husband
Chris Harrison says that this will be the most surprising and emotional finale ever. It betta be!
Emily, Arie and Jef remain in Willemsted, Curacao.
Emily says she thought she’d know who her guy would be by now but she “really has fallen in love with two different guys.”
“Ricki is the center of my universe and everything else goes around it,” she continues.
The two remaining prospects are meeting Ricki today. Emily’s parents, her brother and his wife have also flown in. Emily’s mother mentions that Emily is looking for a man who waits on her hand and foot, which makes Emily very uncomfortable.
Jef is first to meet Emily’s family. He gifts the parents with flowers. Emily’s mom Susie asks Jef if he’s taking this seriously and of course Jef says he does. She also says that it’s important that the new guy can’t be jealous of Emily’s relationship with Ricki. Jef is very insistent that he will never leave her and will be the world’s best father/husband.
Emily’s brother Ernie is feeling very protective. He speaks privately with Jef. Jef asks why Emily hasn’t been able to find anyone yet, and Ernie responds that nobody has been good enough since Ricky. Jef passionately has a speech prepared about how he’s absolutely amazed by Emily and the brother remains stonefaced. It’s quite scary.
Emily’s dad is up next. Jef asks him for his “seal of approval.” The dad concedes.
