No Doubt Performs “Settle Down” At Teen Choice Awards 2012 – First TV Performance in 10 Years! (WATCH)
We know Gwen Stefani looks amazing for her shocking age of 42… but does No Doubt still have what it takes to rock a live audience? Last night, the band performed their new single “Settle Down” at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards, marking their first television performance in over a decade. Take a look at the video:
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest of E!, Gwen said that a reunion was always inevitable. “It was never going to not happen,” Gwen said. “It always was going to happen.” Everybody just got busy with families, solo careers and even writer’s block.
“Settle Down” is the first single off the band’s upcoming album “Push and Shove,” which will be released September 25. Gwen says that it’s “really upbeat. It has that ’80s feel, but a bit of the ska thing, which is the DNA of who were are, but it feels very ‘now.’”
She also thanked her patient fans: “Those people who have been waiting are in for some special ear candy.”
