In an interview with Ryan Seacrest of E!, Gwen said that a reunion was always inevitable. “It was never going to not happen,” Gwen said. “It always was going to happen.” Everybody just got busy with families, solo careers and even writer’s block.
“Settle Down” is the first single off the band’s upcoming album “Push and Shove,” which will be released September 25. Gwen says that it’s “really upbeat. It has that ’80s feel, but a bit of the ska thing, which is the DNA of who were are, but it feels very ‘now.’”
She also thanked her patient fans: “Those people who have been waiting are in for some special ear candy.”
What do you think of No Doubt’s Teen Choice Awards 2012 performance of “Settle Down”?
