Usher’s Stepson Kyle Glover Laid to Rest
Usher’s 11-year-old stepson Kyle Glover (or Kile as he’s called by those close to him) was laid to rest today after his tragic death last week.
Kyle was declared brain dead following a jet ski accident earlier this month, and passed away on Saturday.
His funeral was held in Atlanta and was attended by Usher, his ex wife Tameka Foster, Usher’s mother, and other family members and friends.
No brain activity was detected when Kyle was admitted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta after the accident. The 11-year-old boy remained on life support until July 21 before his family made the decision to let Kyle go.
Usher and Tameka Foster divorced in 2009 after being married for two years. The two also share custody of sons Usher Raymond V, 4, and Naviyd, 3.
“Usher practically raised Kile as his own,” says a source. “He’s known him for seven years. It is so sad what happened.”
After today’s funeral in Atlanta, Kyle was laid to rest in a nearby cemetery.
