Bollywood Star Sherlyn Chopra To Be First Naked Indian Woman in Playboy
No more PG scenes for Sherlyn Chopra! According to The Huffington Post, Bollywood star Sherlyn Chopra will make history as the first woman from India to be photographed naked for Playboy.
Apparently, the 28 year-old contacted the magazine and asked if she could be in it – and a few days later, they said yes. Sherlyn’s nude photos will appear in Playboy‘s November 2012 issue.
Of course, her choice to pose naked has caused some controversy back in India, where Playboy is banned. One critic wrote, “one wonders if Sherlyn Chopra’s pictures wound a woman’s integrity.”
Still, Sherlyn is excited. “I have become the first Indian to pose naked for Playboy,” she told the BBC, “and nobody can take away that achievement from me.” She also took to Twitter to post photos of the Playboy mansion in Los Angeles. She later wrote, “Feelz fuckin’ gud to express myself freely…diz iz me with no resentment…n every damn word I mean very deeply…with no fear of judgement.”
Not sure if taking off your clothes is an “achievement,” but we say you go, girl.
