Chris Brown Tweets About ‘No Homo’ Comment, Addresses Frank Ocean’s Coming Out

It’s obvious that there’s no lost words between singer Chris Brown and fellow R&B crooner Frank Ocean. The two have gotten into some heated Twitter battles in the past, but did Chris Brown cross the line recently?

It’s alleged that “Chris Brown [Hurled A] Homophobic Insult at Frank Ocean,” according to The Advocate. While Chris was leaving an nightclub in France, a paparazzo asked the singer for his opinion on Frank Ocean, who came out as a bisexual in early July.

Chris replied, “Man, no homo.” This ignited a whole lotta criticisms.

Earlier Monday morning, Chris tweeted the following:

Hmmm, what gives? Were the paps lying or did we misinterpret Brown’s statement. According to people who know more about hip-hop lingo than myself, the “No homo” comment may not be as harsh as it sounds.

Apparently, the phrase is used “as something to say when, after giving props to another man, a guy wants to assure that what he said did not have any homosexual connotation,” according to E! Online.

What do you think? Is Chris Brown backpedaling after his comments? Or is he being geniune? Frank Ocean has not responded to Chris’ alleged comment and tweet.
