Kristen Stewart Takes the Lead Role from Jennifer Lawrence
Kristen Stewart’s personal life may be going downhill, but the same can’t be said for her professional life.
The 22-year-old actress has beat out Academy Award nominated Jennifer Lawrence for the lead role in Lie Down in Darkness. The film is an adaptation of William Styron’s 1951 novel of the same name. Stewart will be playing Peyton Loftis, a young woman trying to escape her dysfunctional home life.
With her new project on the books, we wonder how the sequel for Snow White will fare? Reports claim that the film will go on with both Stewart and Rupert Sanders, but if Sanders’ wife Liberty Ross has anything to say about it–Snow White will be sans Sanders.
“Nothing has changed and we are still looking at sequel options that would include Rupert [Sanders] directing,” said a Universal Studio source. But a woman scorned is something to fear, for sure.
Other awkwardness to come: Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson promoting Twilight: Breaking Dawn — Part 2… It’s still a few months away. Who knows what will happen until then?
