Taylor Swift Holding Live Webcast on Monday, August 13 – Will Dish “Really Cool News”
Taylor Swift fans, get excited! According to MTV News, Taylor has just announced that she will hold a webcast on Monday (August 13) at 7 p.m. EST on her official YouTube channel – and she’ll be revealing something juicy.
“Hey, it’s Taylor. So I really want to talk to you about something,” she said. “I would love it if you would join me August 13 for a live webchat,” she said in a video tease posted online. “You can ask questions. I want to share some news with you, some really cool news. Not gonna go into it too much, but it’s cool. I’ll see you there.” Fans can also join the Google+ Hangout created around the event.
So – what is Taylor’s big secret? Since we hear she’s been working on a new album (Speak Now came out all the way back in 2010!), we’re guessing she’ll announce the release date for hew follow-up record. Or maybe she’s launching a line of prairie-chic peasant tops. Perhaps an Adopt-a-Unicorn campaign?
“I have a different approach to this record,” Taylor told MTV News earlier this year. “I’m getting to work with people that I’ve always wanted to work with.” That means that she’s seeking out some assistance “from all different places in music. I’m trying to be as much of a sponge as possible. You have to evolve and try new things and change and that’s what I’ve loved to do with this album.”
We could be wrong about Taylor’s big webcast announcement. Maybe she’s going to pull a Miley and announce an engagement to her new boyfriend, Connor Kennedy!
