Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Getting Married This Weekend?
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are planning a huge “party” at their French chateau this weekend – could that be a code word for “wedding”? According to The Daily Mail, Brad’s parents and jeweler Robert Procop, who designed Angelina’s engagement ring, are among the guests who have already arrived.
Angelina and Brad got engaged back in April; they have been together for seven years and already have six children together.
A source dished, “Brad flew in to oversee preparations but they’re all here now. They say it’s for Jane and Bill, but some think this could be it. Even Angelina’s private jeweller is here.” Even George Clooney is taking the short flight from his house in Italy. (Oh, the concept of “neighbors” to rich celebs.) The source added, “There’s a real buzz around the estate.”
Insiders speculate that Brad & Angelina will hold their wedding ceremony in a private chapel on the grounds of their estate; civil ceremonies are only allowed at the town hall in France. “We don’t know anything about it,” said Patrick Mareschi, deputy culture secretary of the nearby village of Correns. “Under French law couples have to get married at the town hall. Unlike with a religious wedding, there’s no way a couple can hold a civil ceremony at their own home.”
Angelina and Brad have long remained coy about the idea of getting married, but Angelina admitted they were “getting a lot of pressure from the kids.”
