Kristin Chenoweth’s Head Injury Keeps Her From ‘The Good Wife’
Kristin Chenoweth will not be returning to her recurring role on CBS’ The Good Wife.
The Tony Award winning actress sustained injuries last month from a falling scaffolding.
“It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return toThe Good Wife,” Chenoweth tells People magazine. “[I'm] getting better slowly, and thank you everyone for your concern.”
Chenoweth, 44, was hospitalized overnight after the July 11 incident, and has been sharing tweets with her concerned fans.
“Today not best “pain” day. Remaining positive. (I think),” she tweeted in early August.
“To all my fans: thank you for support and love. Doin better everyday. More to come when I’m able! … I love you guys xo.”
Chenoweth will sit out for the rest of the show, but will appear on the season premiere of The Good Wife which airs on Sept. 30 (9 p.m. ET).
