Taylor Swift Unveils New Single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” (LISTEN!)
Taylor Swift fans, rejoice: hew new single is here! Yesterday during her live web chat, Taylor unveiled her brand new song, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”
The single hails from her new upcoming album, Red. Taylor said she named it “Red” to represent the different emotions she explores in the songs. “They’re all pretty much about the kind of tumultuous, crazy, insane, intense, semi-toxic relationships that I’ve experienced in the last two years,” she said. “All those emotions spanning from intense love, intense frustration, jealousy, confusion, all of that, in my mind all those emotions are red. There’s nothing in between. There’s nothing beige about any of those feelings.”

Of course, the burning question is: who is the song about? Taylor, 22, sarcastically explained that the song is “really touching and sensitive,” adding “it’s a really romantic song that’s to my lovely ex-boyfriend.” The straightforward lyrics (will she ever mature a little?) could be about Jake Gyllenhaal, whom she dated in late 2010… She’s gotta be over John Mayer, Taylor Lautner and Joe Jonas by now, right?
Outside of her music, though, Taylor is looking to the future: she recently bought a mansion next to her new boyfriend, Connor Kennedy!
