Kate Middleton’s Cousin Takes It Off for Playboy (PHOTOS)
Being related to the Duchess of Cambridge has it’s perks. Katrina Darling, Kate Middleton’s cousin, makes the cover of Playboy‘s September issue.
The 22-year-old burlesque dancer recently discovered her royal heritage. Once the world was abuzz with royal wedding fever, the press began hounding her about her crowned cousin’s upcoming nuptials to Prince William.
“It was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard,” Darling told Playboy about her royal relations. “It’s not every day something like that happens.”
Darling was reportedly paid a six-figure sum to grace the cover and strip down for the magazine in a God Save the Queen burlesque show, inspired by none other than Queen Elizabeth II.
Although, her royal ties have given her wallet a boost, Darling says she hasn’t tried to contact the most glamorous woman in Great Britain.
For those who are interested in family trees: Darling is the second cousin of Kate Middleton. One of Darling’s grandmothers was the sister of Middleton’s great-grandfather Thomas Harrison, according to E! News.
The issue will hit newsstands on August 17.
