Is Taylor Swift’s Song ‘Never Ever’ About Joe Jonas?
Since Taylor Swift’s release of her latest song We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, people have been wondering who the song is about.
(Side note: Is anyone else reminded of Avril Lavigne when listening to the first bit of the song? Circa Complicated?)
Guess who it’s not about. Joe Jonas, according to Joe Jonas.
“I can say it’s not about me, because I don’t think we’ve ever tried another time,” said Jonas to 94.7 Fresh FM, referring to trying to get back together with Swift.
He says the two still keep in touch and he was at her concert last year. ”I think we’re cool. It’s pretty years removed… I haven’t really spoken to her recently, but I was able to go to her concert last year, and her show live is so phenomenal… I would say anybody should go see it if they have a chance,” he added.
So if it’s not about Joe Jonas, then who’s the song about. Hmmm, maybe John Mayer or Jake Gyllenhaal, perhaps? We don’t know, and we don’t think Taylor’s gonna tell either.
