Avril Lavigne Engagement Ring Revealed (PHOTO)
In the most random engagement of the year, Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger of Nickelback are getting married after just six months of dating. Avril has released a photo of her engagement ring to Hello Canada magazine – and it’s enormous!
“It is so beautiful,” Avril says of her massive ring. “I love it.” The ring is a whopping 14.01 carats and hails from XIV Karats Beverly Hills. According to Hello, Avril and Chad got close while they were collaborating on her fifth studio album. On one of their last days in the studio together, Chad proposed.
XIV Karats’ website claims, “Our client base of over fifty thousand satisfied customers includes a host of A list celebrities, Hollywood Studios, Fortune five hundred corporations and some of the most distinguished names on the Forbes list” – but when we tried to click on “Celebrity Sightings,” nothing happened.
Hello Mag’s photo of Avril’s engagement ring isn’t a super close-up, but we can tell that the rock must be weighing down her tiny little finger!
Avril hasn’t written an original tweet about the announcement, but she’s retweeted a few news outlets.
Haters abound…but I’m gonna stand alone and say congrats, lady. Not sure I’m a fan of the ring, though… that’s one huge chunk of diamond! What do you guys think of Avril’s ring?
