Did Taylor Swift Crash a Kennedy Wedding?
According to some, country singer Taylor Swift is a wedding crasher.
Allegedly, 22-year-old Swift and boyfriend Conor Kennedy were invited to the wedding of Conor’s cousin, Kyle Kennedy. They did not, however, bother to RSVP, and were presumed to be not planning to attend – until they showed up.
Victoria Gifford Kennedy, the mother-of-the-bride, claims that she asked the two to leave, to no avail. Kennedy didn’t hold back when telling the Boston Herald about the incident, stating that Conor “texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come. I responded with a very clear ‘Please do not come.’ They came anyway.”
When the new couple arrived at the wedding, their entrance to the event caused a disturbance, with other guests seeking autographs and a chance to meet the country star. The mother-of-the-bride was not amused.
The young couple apparently left for dinner, but returned to dance at the reception.
Paula Erikson, a rep for Swift, denied the report from Victoria Kennedy, saying that Swift and her 18-year-old beau were welcomed by the bride.
This whole thing seems kind of strange? Why would Swift crash a wedding? But if she didn’t, why would Victoria Kennedy go on record saying that she did?
