Jef Holm’s Brother Started Emily Maynard Cheating Rumors
The Bachelorette‘s royal couple Emily Maynard and Jef Holm quickly denies tabloid rumors that their relationship is on the rocks.
Rumors were sparked that Maynard had sent raunchy text messages to a mystery man, which resulted in Holm comforting Maynard on their family vacation. What really surprised the couple was the perpetrator behind the rumor–Jef’s own brother Mike Holm.
“My family all says they are shocked, and obviously I’m shocked,” Jef tells People. ”But if everybody knew the history he had with our family, no one would be surprised.”
Jef reiteratres that the cheating rumors are “100% false.” The couple became engaged on the season finale of The Bachelorette when Maynard chose to give Holm the final rose and her hand in marriage.
Mike Holm has declined to comment. ”I like to give Mike the benefit of the doubt and think he’s changed, but obviously he hasn’t. He has a history of doing hurtful things to the family,” reveals Holm. “He’s been cut off from a lot of family things because he’s so dishonest.”
Although Jef is hurt by his brother’s actions, he says he still loves him and his family.
