Kate Upton ‘Rakes Leaves’, Mostly Just Poses a Lot (PHOTOS)
Victoria’s Secret model Kate Upton covered up for a good cause yesterday. Ditching the lingerie for casual jeans and a blouse, the buxom blonde headed out to Brooklyn’s Fort Greene Park to rake leaves and pick up litter.
Her choice of footwear, a pair of strappy sandals, wasn’t quite as appropriate for a day in the park.
“Hey, at least I’m not wearing heels!” she said.
So, why was Upton raking leaves in the first place? The 20-year-old model teamed up with professional skateboarder Chaz Ortiz, along with thirty-or-so high school students, to clean up the park at an event organized by Stoked Mentoring. The lucky students got the chance to fulfill their school’s mandatory community service requirement and hang out with a supermodel.
“She’s hot, she’s on the cover of my GQ magazine,” explained 16-year-old Alonzo Jackson, of Upton. “And she’s naked [in the magazine].”
Upton did seem to do more posing for the cameras than actual volunteer work, however. 18-year-old Dominic Ming wasn’t too impressed:
“That’s stupid. Famous people,” he said. “She is hot, though.”
She is indeed, Dominic. She is indeed.
