LL Cool J Punches Out a Burglar (VIDEO)
A burglar did not know what hit him when he broke into LL Cool J‘s Los Angeles pad. Literally, the man did not know what hit him. The rapper and NCIS: Los Angeles actor reportedly broke the burglar’s nose and jaw.
LL heard noises downstairs and found a homeless man in his home which he shares with his family. His family was asleep at the time. The rapper restrained the intruder until authorities arrived. Jonathan Kirby, 56, has been charged with first-degree burglary and faces a maximum of 38 years to life. Pretty hefty fine for a B&E.
However, Kirby has had previous felony complaint charges against him in the Los Angeles county. Bail has been set for $1.1 million. He is currently being hospitalized for a broken nose, jaw, and ribs.
“LL Cool J, and his family, are safe and thank everyone for their thoughts and concern,” said LL’s rep. “As a father, husband and citizen, he is committed to keeping his family safe and is cooperating with authorities on this private matter.”
One thing that isn’t a private matter. If you break into LL’s house, he will not hesitate to knock you out.
