Justin Bieber to Mentor on ‘X Factor’
X-Factor fans and Biebermaniacs, rejoice: Justin Bieber is going to appear as a mentor on the upcoming season of the show!
The 18-year-old pop star will allegedly join forces with L.A. Reid’s team as a ‘celebrity mentor’, giving advice to the team of four once the top 16 contestants have been chosen. Bieber and Reid know each other because they both worked with Def Jam Records at the same time.
Bieber was spotted filming the show in Hollywood Hills yesterday.

The other mentors for the upcoming season haven’t been announced yet, though there is speculation that Nick Jonas may be joining Demi Lovato’s team.
Seriously though… how embarrassing would it be to be getting advice from a kid who once said, re: politics, “I’m not sure about the parties. But whatever they have in Korea, that’s bad.”
The X-Factor returns for its second season on September 12th.
