Did Adele Secretly Get Married?
This June, Adele revealed to the world that she’s pregnant – a great thing in itself, but the news was made even more amazing by the fact that the singer was already nearly seven months along. A celebrity hiding a pregnancy for that long is unheard of in our ‘baby bump’-obsessed culture, and Adele’s unique decision to keep her pregnancy to herself prompted some to wonder if that wasn’t the only thing she was hiding.
Recently, rumors have been swirling that the pregnant singer has forgone the celebrity tradition of hyper-publicizing (and monetizing) a wedding, and instead opted to marry her fiancé Simon Konecki in secret. These rumors were fueled by a photo of the singer snapped by Life & Style, in which she appears to be wearing a wedding ring.
Now, a ‘source’ (you know how reliable those can be, so take this with a grain of salt) has come forward and confirmed the allegation. This ‘source’ told the Daily Mail that they attended Adele and Simon’s nuptials.
“They did get married, and I was present. It was a fabulous occasion,” revealed the source. “Adele was dressed in a classic attire and Simon looked very smart and joyous.”
So, maybe they’re married, maybe they’re not… either way, kudos to Adele for maintaining her privacy so well.
