Giuliana and Bill Rancic Welcome Baby Boy!
Happy news for Giuliana and Bill Rancic. The two welcomed a baby boy on Wednesday. The new addition to the Rancic clan will be christened Edward Duke.
The couple’s surrogate gave birth to Edward who came into the world weighing 7 pounds and 4 ounces and measuring 20 inches. Giuliana, an E! News anchor is a breast cancer survivor who underwent a double mastectomy. The couple tragically lost their first child due to a miscarriage.
“Bill and I are blessed beyond words to welcome Edward into our lives,” Giuliana tells E! News. “Thank you so much to everyone who supported us along the way. We are so in love with the little guy already!”
Giuliana and Bill had been sharing home videos with excited fans throughout their pregnancy, calling the videos Baby Watch 2012.
“One of the things we’ve always tried to do is help others with our story,” Bill told Today in April. “Whether it’s with the infertility issues, whether it’s with the breast cancer, we said we’re gonna turn these negatives into positives. And if we can help others by sharing our story, then it’s worth it.”
