Kristen Stewart Hits the Red Carpet at TIFF (VIDEO)

Yesterday, Kristen Stewart made her first public appearance since the news of her cheating scandal broke. K-Stew hit the red carpet to promote her new movie, On the Road, at the Toronto International Film Festival yesterday, and the starlet looked great.

While some speculated that the 22-year-old would skip the red carpet for the premiere, Stewart held her head high as she spoke with the press and greeted fans. Her fans, by the way, came out in droves to support the actress. They held up encouraging signs and seemed eager to meet Stewart – a refreshing sight, given the vitriol she’s been subjected to for the past two months.

Stewart looked radiant in a floral Zuhair Murad dress as she worked the red carpet with co-stars Garrett Hedlund and Kirsten Dunst. She kept her time with the press short, preferring to snap photos and chat with fans.

“I’m really happy (my fans) are here,” said Stewart.

When asked how she’s been holding up by a member of the press, Kristen curtly replied, “I’m doing fine.”

Looks like she’s trying to keep it all-business with the press – definitely a wise move. We wish her the best.
