Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are Married
They may have only been together for about a year, but it looks like it’s true love for Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. The two stars reportedly tied the knot in a secret ceremony over the weekend.
Lively, 25, and Reynolds, 35, were reportedly wed in a small ceremony in Boone Hall Plantation in South Carolina. The wedding was attended by close friends and family only. Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine, a close friend of the Gossip Girl star, provided much of the music for the ceremony.
Allegedly, the news of their nuptials came as quite a surprise to the stars’ families – after all, Reynolds’ divorce from Scarlett Johansson was only finalized two years ago, and Blake was just getting over a breakup from Leonardo DiCaprio a year ago, when she began dating Reynolds.
The wedding was apparently incredibly low-key by celebrity wedding standards. In fact, it was a complete secret from just about everybody but the 60-or-so attendees – that is, until a local radio station broke the news.
“A few days ago, I heard Ryan was back in town. Then today, lots of signs went up at Boone Hall Plantation stating that it was holding a private event, so no one could get into the area. I also started hearing rumors that a celebrity wedding was taking place,” said the station’s Kelly Gukanovich to E!News.
