Kim Kardashian Thinks Her Fake Marriage was Like Having Cancer

What’s a good analogy for the feelings one must deal with when making the harrowing decision to have a televised wedding? It’s like the struggles faced by cancer patients! Of course!

So says Kim Kardashian, in her biggest foot-in-mouth moment of… well, this week, at least.

In an interview with The Guardian, Kim once again discussed the battles she must fight every day as she tries to juggle her career as a famous person with her personal life as an obscenely rich woman. Of her decision to have her wedding to Kris Humphries broadcast on her television show, Kim had this to say (emphasis mine):

“We had done filming our season at that point, so we decided to film for the wedding. And that was a decision that [Kris] and I made together,” she explained. “But I think that, with any decisions in life, like, I spoke to a girl today who had cancer and we were talking about how this is such a hard thing for her, but it taught her a big lesson on who her friends are and so much about life. She’s 18. And I was like, that’s how I feel.”

Poignant.

Later in the interview, Kim also addressed the haters who claim that she’s a talentless, money-grubbing, fame-loving scourge on society.

“What is my talent?,” she said. “Well, a bear can juggle and stand on a ball and he’s talented, but he’s not famous. Do you know what I mean?”

No, Kim. No, we don’t.
