Woman Discovers Ex-Boyfriend Living in Her Attic 12 Years After their Break-Up (VIDEO)
It’s straight out of a horror movie. A woman from North Carolina discovers her ex-boyfriend has been living in her attic. What’s messed up about that, besides having an intruder in your home, is that the two broke up 12 years ago.
Tracy [last name withheld] says she heard thumps coming from her attic. The nails began to pop out from the ceiling, and the mother of five knew something was amiss. She felt “something just ain’t right,” and thought that “there was some poltergeist stuff going on.”
Tracy’s sons and nephew found the man asleep in the attic. “They found a man. He had packed all the old coats and jackets into the heating unit and was sleeping in the heating unit,” Tracey tells WCNC.
Several “Route 44″ Sonic cups were found and filled with human feces and urine. The heating vents were also re-positioned so the man could look down at Tracy while she was in her bedroom.
“It’s got me flabbergasted,” says Tracy. “How can you look at someone through an air vent?” Tracy and her ex-boyfriend had broken up 12 years ago, and although he sent her letters from jail, she says she did not want to rekindle their relationship. She figured he had moved on.
To add to the creepy factor: The entrance to the attic is through a door inside the home. The man would’ve had to enter the attic through a hallway that connects her children’s bedrooms.
The man fled before police officers arrived. It’s believed that he had been living in the attic for the past two weeks after his release from jail. He is a black male, 5′ 6” tall and weighs 170 pounds. Tracy continues to be shaken by the ordeal. Can we blame her?
