Kate Middleton Topless Photos Published (NSFW PHOTO, VIDEO)
If the Duchess of Cambridge, better known as Kate Middleton, is known for anything (other than being Prince William’s wife), it’s for being incredibly classy. Unfortunately, a French gossip magazine called Closer is seeking to tarnish that image by publishing a number of topless photos that its paparazzi took of the royal.
“Discover the incredible pictures of the future Queen of England as you’ve never seen her before… and as you will never see her again!,” says Closer’s website.
According to the magazine, the photos were taken at a guesthouse in Provence belonging to Viscount Linley, the son of the late Princess Margaret. They show the Duchess during a private moment with her husband, as she suns herself while topless on the balcony and by the pool of the estate. They are extremely grainy and appear to have been taken with a long-range lens.
Not only are the photographs a breach of common decency, they may also be a breach of France’s very strict privacy laws, which forbid paparazzi from snapping photos of celebs outside of official events. As such, the Royals are considering taking legal action against the magazine. A statement issued by the St. James’ Palace states:
“Their Royal Highnesses have been hugely saddened to learn that a French publication and a photographer have invaded their privacy in such a grotesque and totally unjustifiable manner.
“The incident is reminiscent of the worst excesses of the press and paparazzi during the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, and all the more upsetting to The Duke and Duchess for being so.
“Their Royal Highnesses had every expectation of privacy in the remote house. It is unthinkable that anyone should take such photographs, let alone publish them.
“Officials acting on behalf of Their Royal Highnesses are consulting with lawyers to consider what options may be available to The Duke and Duchess.
“The Duke and Duchess remain focused currently on their Tour of Singapore, Malaysia, Solomon Islands and Tuvalu on behalf of HM The Queen.”
