Lady Gaga Gets Tattoo on Her Head in Front of Fans (PHOTO)
Lady Gaga has always been one to put on a show – and we’re not just talking about her concerts. The eccentric singer has essentially turned her entire life into a piece of performance art, and her newest stunt might just top them all.
This week, Gaga threw a masquerade ball at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum to launch her new fragrance, Fame. The singer made quite a splash when she arrived in a convertible Rolls Royce. Gaga took some time to interact with her fans outside the venue before heading inside to start the main event.
Once inside the Guggenheim, Mother Monster got into a giant, glass replica of a Fame bottle. The singer spent about an hour allowing fans to reach inside the bottle and touch her as she slept (or pretended to sleep), for a performance art piece called ‘Sleeping with Gaga’. Next to the bottle, there was a sign that said, “Touch Lady Gaga’s hand, but please don’t wake her.”
After that, she got a tattoo while still inside the bottle, as fans watched. The tattoo is of a winged cherub, and is located on the back of her recently-shaven head.
Rolling Stone called the performance, “Fearless. Genius. Insane.” What do you think?
