Amanda Bynes’ Car Impounded
Finally, someone had the good sense to take Amanda Bynes’ car away.
If you’ve been following our coverage of Bynes in recent weeks, you know that we (like just about everyone else in the world) have been spending a lot of time questioning why the former child actress has faced little punishment for being an absolute menace on the roads.
In the past few weeks alone, Bynes has gotten in several minor fender benders, been seen (and pulled over while) driving with a suspended license, and even been caught smoking weed behind the wheel (she now claims it was tobacco, which is definitely something you smoke out of a pipe designed to look like a car cigarette lighter).
Yesterday, she was caught driving again. And instead of letting her off with a warning, the responding officers slapped her with a misdemeanor ticket and had her BMW towed and impounded. Of course, this can’t stop her from simply getting another car and continuing her reign of vehicular terror. But hey, at least it’s something!

Ironically, Lindsay Lohan has taken to Twitter to express her disgust with the fact that Bynes hasn’t yet faced jail time for her driving offences.
“Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?,” Lindsay tweeted, referencing the whopping 23 days she spent in jail for violating her probation after getting charged with DUI.
