Paris Hilton Says Gays are ‘Disgusting,’ Most ‘Probably Have AIDS’
Guess who’s not dead? Paris Hilton. We were shocked too. It’s been a while since the heiress has graced the headlines. Now this publicity junkie has her wish, but it’s what she was hoping for.
Paris Hilton was recently in a cab with her openly gay friend when they started jabbering about the gay smartphone app Grindr. The app allows gay men to meet up and potentially hook up.
When her friend told her about the app, she responded in the most eloquent and intelligent way possible. “Ew, ew. Gay guys are the horniest people in the world. They’re disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS … I would be so scared if I was a gay guy. You’ll like, die of AIDS.”
Unbeknownst to Hilton, the cab driver recorded the whole thing. It got into the hands of RadarOnline, who promptly posted the celebutante’s views.
Paris’ PR team are now in frenzy, trying to clarify Hilton’s comments, saying that the she was trying to “express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life-threatening disease.”
“It was not her intent to make any derogatory comments about all gays,” added her rep. “Paris Hilton is a huge supporter of the gay community and would never purposefully make any negative statements about anyone’s sexual orientation.”
