Martha Stewart Orchestrated Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ Wedding

There’s nothing like a good neighbor. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds called on the help of their neighbor and lifestyle guru Martha Stewart for their wedding plans.

Stewart lives just around the corner from the newlyweds in Bedford, NY, and helped the couple plan their nuptials. “They’re good friends of mine who live around the corner from me,” says Stewart, “so we got involved that way because it’s through friendship.”

She adds that they are the “nicest couple,” and was thrilled to orchestrate their special day.  In fact, the ultra private wedding will be featured in the December issue of Martha Stewart Weddings!

The intimate wedding had 60 guests including Lively’s costars from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants: America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel. Lively wore a Marchesa ball gown with draped silk tulle bodice, embellished with crystal and rose gold. She carried a bouquet of white and peach flowers including roses, peonies, and hellebores.

Stewart said Lively looked “very gorgeous,” and Reynolds made an equally “gorgeous groom.” She added that Lively is an admitted “foodie,” and has invited the publisher and TV personality for an ice cream soda party. There’s nothing like good neighbors.
