Arnold Schwarzenegger and Brigitte Nielsen had an Affair
Everybody knows that while he was married to Maria Shriver, Arnold Schwarzenegger slept with his family’s housekeeper, Mildred Patricia Baena, and fathered a secret love child with her. But it turns out that the housekeeper was not the only lover Arnold took while he was with Maria. Big surprise, right?
Arnold has now admitted that he was getting it on with Brigitte Nielsen while the two worked together on Red Sonja in 1985. Though they weren’t yet married, Arnold and Maria were in a relationship and living together at the time. Arnie copped to the “hot” affair in his amusingly-titled memoir, Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story.
But it’s totally cool, because according to an interview Arnold did for 60 Minutes, Maria was well aware of the fact that he was doing everything that moved throughout the entire course of their relationship. Except that Maria claims that she wasn’t, and is allegedly furious with Arnold for saying so.
In the same interview, Arnold calls his affair with the housekeeper the “stupidest thing” he ever did to Maria, and lamented the pain that it caused her and their family.
I’m curious as to why he doesn’t consider releasing a tell-all autobiography in which he details his betrayals something that might inflict even more pain on his ex-wife.
