Dancing With The Stars All Stars: Bruno Thinks Bristol Palin’s Quick Step Had a Bit of Gangnam Style to It
We’re at the second round of dances of the all-star season!
Melissa Rycroft and her dance partner Tony Dovolani perform a spirited jive that reminds me of Grease. Len Goodman loved the dance; Bruno says it’s one of the fastest jives he’s ever seen; and Carrie Ann comments that Melissa was “made to jive.”
Carrie Ann and Len give them 8s, and Bruno gives them a 7.5. Bruno’s being a toughie this season!
Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas is second up. They’re attempting the quick step. During rehearsals, Bristol takes Mark to the shooting range to show him a her world. The gun shots motivate Bristol to do well.
Bruno says it was “definitely different” and calls the routine quick step meets Gangnam Style meets wild wild west. Overall I get the sense he wasn’t that into it. Carrie Ann reminds everyone that Bristol has improved since her last. Len liked the ho down but thought the technique was “low down.”
All three judges score them with 6s.
“It’s not ideal but we’ll take it,” comments Mark Ballas.
