Dancing With The Stars: Anna Trebunskaya Enjoys Slapping Drew Lachey Repeatedly
Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya aren’t too happy after last week’s low scores and judges’ criticisms. They are more determined than ever to kick butt. Anna fake-slaps Drew during rehearsals, as it’s part of their routine, but she does it one too many times. It makes a huge, audible smack sound. I think she’s mad at him.
Bruno warns Drew about being flat footed but praises him nonetheless for being so energetic. Carrie Ann says, “Welcome home, Drew.” Len thinks Drew is no longer “Bottom Two Drew.”
They get a 7.5 from every judge.
Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson are concerned because even the best of the best are falling to the bottom. They do the quick step. Joey Fatone is dressed up like Charlie Chaplin (I think). Len Goodman literally reads off a list of all the mistakes Joey made but says at the end he really enjoyed it. Bruno and Carrie Ann agree.
All three judges give them 7.5.
Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough will show off their jive. They were very thrown off my Len’s 6.5 last week and hope to increase their points a bit this time around. Shawn Johnson, like Apolo, is mad that she’s not in the top 3. These Olympians and their podiums.
Len Goodman says there was “just enough jive, just enough content and just enough technique, but he wants to see MORE than enough.” Bruno thinks the routine was exhilarating. Carrie Ann agrees with Bruno – he thinks Derek and Shawn are the “all star sweethearts.”
